Sugar may have a similar effect. One of the most common health concerns associated with eating too much sugar is coronary heart disease. The theory is that most types of white breads are also packed with sugars; combined, these two types of bad carbs have been proven to affect the brain by increasing insulin and glucose levels within the system extremely fast.
